Fast Forward / Rewind

Anybody know how to fast forward / rewind in normal CD operations, in bluetooth operations, and in satellite radio timeshift operations? I assume all 3 are different. I talked to geniuses and they have no clue.

I just want to add that literally no one I've talked with at BMW knows how to fast forward under any view with this stereo. Not geniuses, bmw reps, dealer, no one.

If this stereo can't fast forward, I'm gonna be at my wit's end with this stereo.

the right & left arrows next to the number eight preset button will fast forward & rewind if you hold them down. i have successfully done this in bluetooth, usb, and cd modes.

while headed to lunch, i verified that the arrow buttons do indeed serve as fast forward & rewind buttons if held down.

also, if you want to fast forward or rewind via time shifting satellite radio, you must first select the time shift sub-menu (i believe it's the third selection down while in the main satellite radio section). once you're in the time shift satellite sun-menu, the same arrows will serve as fast forward & rewind when held down. additionally, there are virtual buttons in the sub-menu that can be utilized via the idrive knob (select the fast forward or rewind virtual button & push/hold the knob down for the desired amount of time).
