I have a 2016 M235i with HU_ENTRYNAV. I have upgraded the screen to 8.8”, and have a CarPlay box added.

Is there any benefit to replacing my HU_ENTRYNAV with an (older) NBT box? Assuming I don’t want NAV (because I use CarPlay for that), i am not aware of any major differences (until you get to EVO). What am I missing?

NBT has the ability to play video over DVD or USB whereas the Entrynav does not. Aside from that along with voice control and Nav, there's no much more to gain.
