Drivetrain Malfunction without findable Error Code?

As title says, went to start my car a few minutes ago ('21 240 6MT - no tune) and was greeted with a drivetrain malfunction on my idrive. I checked bimmerlink and every toggle-able module but it didn't find any error codes in the search.

Anyone have any idea what could be happening? Checked all my sensors and they seemed tight, couldn't discern any exhaust leaks (though it is a bit odd hearing the essentially naturally-aspirated version of this motor!), and I'm just left scratching my head.

I just drove it for about 50 miles round trip yesterday and it was fine - the only thing that's changed from last night until this was the temperature dropped a few degrees.

Would certainly appreciate any input.

The drivetrain malfunction can come on for many reasons. If you want the piece of mind of knowing the BMW dealer should be able to help. I had one go off a couple weeks back. Turned the car off and back on and the light went off. Have driven a couple hundred miles and has not repeated itself.

Welp, turned it on this AM and it was there for a second then immediately disappeared. Guess everything worked itself out overnight.
