MPE = no valve?

I just want to be sure that the M performance muffler for M240i doesn’t have a valve. I have a 230i that have the clip vibrating and I tried new clip, clip with rubber isolation, exploding the clip ect ect ect. It gets better for a few days but the it starts vibrating again. My OCD doesn’t let it go.

I’m to the point that I’ll probably go to a muffler shop and cut the valve piece for a straight tube or get the MPE exhaust.

You can just check realoem to see it uses a dummy flap actuator.

I put an OEM M Performance Muffler on my M240i and it had no valve.

I had the exhaust rattle and successfully stopped it with graphite lube spray (good for 1200F temps, not that it matters) all over the place down there. Inside and out. It hasn't come back in 6+ months without re-applying.

But the MPE does sound cool if that's what you want.
