Hey guys, I want to update my car to the latest iStep (NBT evoX?) but my local dealer is telling me that it's already on the latest version and no update is available.

My car is a 02/2020 build and has NBT evoS on board. When I run my VIN through this link: https://www.bmw.com/en/footer/software-updates.html
it also says that my car is up to date with no upgrades available.

How is this possible when there are other M240i's that have been updated to newer iSteps and enabled fullscreen carplay through bimmercode? Should I go to a different dealer to check for a software upgrade?

My dealership updated mine last month to Evo_X. I had Evo_S too) I told them i was having some car play issues (I just said it randomly gets stuck and disconnects) and sure enough they did a diagnostic and found a fault. Either way, I would demand they update it because there will be little to no support from BMW moving forward as ID6 is 2 versions behind now. In anycase, i now have full screen Carplay using Bimmercode

Yes, no problem. Easily doable (would need Firmware Update)
