ehagerty, I got my M3 for 2,580 more than I paid for the M235i, and given that I drive 16k miles a year, I would be out of warranty sooner in the M235i (June 2017) than the 2012 M3 I bought CPO (11/17 or 100k miles).

Few that value excitemt and feel over numbers. Two of my closest buddies that disagree with me all the time both came away a bit underwhelmed. One drives 335d other 335i m sport. It's just a different philosophy now in the 235i and one that will bring it a
Broader customer base for
Sure but there will always be a fee left behind.
Unless you went in expecting the car to drive like a porsche I don't get the disappointment. The electric steering in the 235 is the best int the F chassis other than the M3/4. I owned an e90 and loved the hydraulic steering, but I quickly got used to the the electric and this car just crushes the e9x. Also it has as much torque as that diesel in a much more compact package. I don't know what the other car was, but this car compared to f30 in handling is night and day. This 2 is putting down just as much if not more power than most of the 335s out there. I'm not saying that the 2 is the best car ever, but I wouldn't trade it for any 135/335/435. '
Is the suspension soft? Yes, compared to previous models, but when you hit a pothole in the e90 based on the sound you would think there was permanent damage. This suspension provides just about all of the feedback, without scaring the shit out of you and your passengers everytime you hit an imperfection in the pavement.

Nice looking M mj, glad you are happy. I can't seem to keep a car for more than a year no matter what, as I have car ADD. Life is too short to limit yourself.
