FS: 435i M Sport Brake ROTORS - FRONT & REAR - Slightly Used

BIMMERPOST / Classifieds
Asking Price:
USD 350.00

Item Interest
Hey,

Long story short, I'm selling a full set of Genuine BMW brake rotors. Slightly used for less than 6 months.

Retail is $700+ so this is a good chance to replace brakes and save a few hundred dollars.

Pick Up in SoCal - Los Angles area only (close to DTLA)

One rotor has slight grooves but having them resurfaced would make them as good as new.

Details, photos and links below, let me know if you have any questions.

Front M Sport Brake Rotors (370x30)
F22 M235i M235iX, F30 335i 335iX, F32 435i 435iX (M Sport S2NHA)

Always!

Both the Turner links and realoem show these won't fit the M235/M240. Turner shows M235 in the headline for the fronts, but when you ask the page to check vehicle fitment neither the M235 nor the M240 are listed.

Realoem shows they're for 3-Series and 4-Series cars.

Hmmmm, does the M235/M240 have different brake options? I know with the 435i there's different sizes (this one being more uncommon) that made it extremely difficult to confirm.

Basically had to go through BMW service department to get the part numbers.

The can of worms that is BMW's brake systems for our cars is truly something to behold, and I'm a novice when it comes to understanding all of it. There are others here (in the Suspension | Chassis | Brakes forum) who certainly have a better handle on it that I do.

I tend to use part numbers to guide me, and that's why I first took them to realoem and saw there that they fit only the 3- & 4-Series cars. It was only then that I went to Turner's pages and saw that, except for the apparent mistake of showing text on the page for the front rotors saying they fit the M235i/M235iX cars, Turner also doesn't show them fitting the 2-Series cars when doing the check for vehicle fitment.

I recently bought the M Performance Brake Kit for my M240. In that regard, I found these two pages to be of some use:

Bimmerworld: https://www.bimmerworld.com/About-Us...-Sport-Brakes/ – shows a 370X30 front rotor option for M235/M240 w/p# 34106797606 and a rear rotor option w/p# 34206797607

Turner Motorsport: https://www.turnermotorsport.com/t-b...ke-Differences

As noted just above, in reviewing the Bimmerworld page a moment ago, it shows that your front rotors fit the M235/M240 if the car has the 'S2NHA M Sport/ZTR' option; which, apparently, accepts a 370X30 front rotor instead of the more common 340X30 rotor. Other than the larger rotor, I don't know what else is included in that option (others here will surely know). It also shows that your rear rotors fit the M235/M240 if the car has that same option.

As you said in your listing post, the buyer will need to ensure that the rotors will actually fit on his or her car. Sorry if I've gone way off on a tangent here, especially if I've offered as fact something that is incorrect.

Which rotor has slight grooves? Are you open to shipping just the rears to WI? I am looking for rear 345x24mm rotors.
