Can I program Speed and Tach lights in daytime?

OK, maybe I'm missing something (new M235i two weeks ago), but can I program the speed and tach lights to stay on in daytime? I can't see them in bright light and the thumb dial only seems to impact lights in fully on mode. Thanks.
