228i rear rotor hats different from MBBK/M235i?

I read somewhere that if you put the M Performance BBK (370mm set) on a 228i the rear set will not work due to the hat being smaller on the 228?

I.e. The hand brake will not work as the shoes dont go out far enough?

Has anyone put this kit on a 228i?
