As I just got my rear diffuser wrapped in Satin Black I just wanted to know if anyone has the Geniune Black Chrome Exhaust Tips (18307610639) installed on your BMW as I just like to see proper pics of what it looks like installed. I also want to know if it looks completely gloss black/grey or does it still have that chromness to it as that’s what I personally prefer thanks.

I have the version for the E46 - they are not glossy.
Here are pix of the F22 part:

Are these the black chrome exhausts you are on about? Not much 'chromeness' to them but I prefer them to the normal chrome tips.

Awesome, after 3 colour changes on my rear diffuser I’ve just had it wrapped in satin black but now I think what’s missing is the exhaust not being black to match. Only if possible though and if it isn’t a problem for you but have you got a pic of the rear or your car from more of a distance angle like shown on mine to see what the exhaust looks without seeing it close up but again only if you don’t mind at all but I really appreciate it cheers and thank you for your help mate. 👍🙏

The stock "black chrome" is painted on and difficult to keep looking glossy due to its location. Eventually the paint will fail from constantly cleaning it and you get a silver dribble area.

These were mine before replacing.

Not the best light at the moment, my diffuser looks black but it's actually grey!
I'm going to fit a black one and probably look at Akraprovic gloss black/carbon tips to replace these

That looks awesome, white F22 would’ve of been my first choice as I prefer white F22’s and I wished I had a M240i but insurance just doesn’t let me.

Like you if I had a M240i I’ve would’ve of definitely changed the diffuser as there’s so many choices out there and because mine is a 218i, I didn’t want to make my car look sporty, aggressive or making it look like a M240i wannabe. A guy at my work has a M140i with a gloss black Maxton Diffuser and Akrapovic exhaust and sounds insane. I’m not too sure what your car sounds like at the moment as my parents have a X3 M40i all stock and the Akrapovic will really bring out the B58 goodness 👌.

Definitely prefer the black chrome over normal chrome especially as I'm going for black badges, grills etc!
I was looking at an M140i but the other half wanted an M240i, so we compromised and got an M240i...
I might try wrapping the rear diffuser, did the inside and it wasn't too hard! I take it the heat from the exhaust doesn't damage the wrap?
