Dealer update deleted nav

Hi all,

My car had lci lights fitted under warranty but now my nav is disabled.

BMW still have the car but they may not fix it.

I flashed to have map updates last year via usb and I think it did carplay even though I already have it.

If BMW refuse to repair it do I just flash using the same bin update the seller sent me?

All they sent was 1 bin file and did not tell me this would happen.

It's also gone back to to id5 and I want to code 6 lite via bimmercode.

Can I do this again?

Car is now stock id5 I think? I hope BMW sort it but want to know my options. I will just pay for maps from BMW next time if I cannot fix this.

Any help would be great.

Thanks.

If the HU is flashed you will loose all the patch files for nav and carplay.
You have to check which version they updated to and see if it still supports USB patch. Some newer version dont support usb patch. PM me i can check for you if its possible to reuse the file or create new activation code.
For id6 lite its possible via bimmercode. check HMI_ID_VERSION in HU.
