Another “will these fit?” and more
Hi everyone,
I’ve dug through these forums and thought I had figured out what would work and what wouldn’t, but I came across this package claiming to be compatible with my ‘18 m240ix: https://www.bmwpartspros.com/oem-par...ot-36115a3de45 Would these fit? I’m on factory suspension Also, what are people’s experience with these (cup 2 connect) tires? These would be my summer setup. All daily. I appreciate the help Last edited by Doubleojon; 06-01-2023 at 06:32 AM.. |

I'd say no they wont fit a non-M2 2 series. We have smaller available space for wheels than the 3 series and M cars do. The linked site does say they fit but I'd highly doubt it without a lot of camber and fender rolling.
240 treadwear tires is a bit excessive for daily driving, you'll gain in dry grip but lose in lifespan and wet traction. If that's worth it to you, it's your choice. |

You'd need camber, an aggressive fender roll and pull, and running the front 19x9J-et29's front and back as a square setup with very aggressive backpad milling (~5-7mm). I've thought about it, but ended up abandoning it because its just a bad idea. Theyre way too big and backmilling will compromise their strength.
If you like that look and forged tech, I'd recommend APEX VS-5RS as an aesthetic and functionally close (or maybe superior) stand-in.
