Fake Badges

Here’s my first contribution. I always seem to see these gems while driving solo, but this time I was lucky enough to have a copilot with a phone handy.

Today’s specimen is a four banger three series with the badging stripped clean, the addition of M mirror covers, a rear spoiler and the tri-color stripes added to the grill slats (we couldn’t get in fron to grab a pic…the Mposter had too much HP!!!). Enjoy!

Ever since discovering this thread I've started paying attention, and lo and behold, I have a contribution.

//M license plate
M3 LCI headlights
666M M3 wheels (thought the rears looked narrow, so either reps or a set of fronts on the rear?)

Guy just stared straight ahead and I rolled by and gave him a friendly wave.

IMO 328i with no M3 badge on the trunk does not qualify as a fake badge. A fake badge is an owner installed M badge in the spot that exists on an M.

Yep, I’m fine with debadged cars. But, when you add M mirrors and a CS rear spoiler that gets you right in line with the fake badge team.

I'm going to have to dissent here. Unless they're upbadging, M badging, grill striping, it's all good with me. Debadging, wheels, tastefully modded headlights all good no matter the spec.

Big wings, stanced, completely clapped, underglow....that's a whole other thread of ruined bmws.

Would it be less tacky to add slats to the other side of the grill to make it even?

I don't know if you guys would consider these fake or not, my problem is I just can't stand the plastic chromed M so had to change over.
