265 Rear PSS ?

Hello Guys!

i'm Wondering if there is any legit wheels setup that takes some fat 265's rear (18 or 19 ) with PSS that requires no fender rolling nor any spacers on stock suspension .

Closest thing i found is this guy but he has Spacers : http://www.2addicts.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1215899

Thank you

What's wrong with spacers?

My rear offset was 62 but with a 15mm spacer. Shop accordingly.

I'm going to try a 265/30/19 PSS next week. I'll let you know how it fits.

I still don't see the big deal. Removing spacers is an extra 30 second job per side lol
Just put some antiseize prior and they will come off no problem.

My advice to you would be to get around a ET47 or ET48 wheel for a 265 tire (though I'm not sure if those offsets are mass produced, hence why I got spacers). 18x9.5 et50 will rub on the shock cover for sure, which isn't a big deal but you said you don't want to trim anything. Also, consider getting a 255 tire instead, I was actually surprised by how wide the PSS run; the 265 has some pinch on my car. A 255 PSS on a 9.5 wheel seems to be the ideal fit, I just got the 265 to see if it can be done.

Inner and outer clearance is very very tight, don't try anything crazy with offsets unless you're willing to experiment (ie fender rolling, alignment adjustment, etc.)

I love your car man , it looks so mean on them 265 , indeed my next choice will be to go on 255 PSS, they are equivalent to 265 of most other brands

I didn't realize how true this statement was until I got the tires on. Still a good fit, but some might prefer a performance stretch for more initial response. I just wanted more peak grip.

Please correct me if I'm wrong - but your effective offset at the rear being 47mm, wouldn't a 255 mm tire fit perfectly with a 9.5x18 ET 45, which is a much more popular offset - and wouldn't require spacers?

This would be such an obvious solution of adding some rubber that if almost seems suspicious noone reported it so far. Please confirm or deny!

I'd wager that you could get away with it with a 255. But with a 265, not so much...

And you're correct, rear offset would be adjusted to 47mm.

Can fenders be rolled on our car? I wouldn't mind paying a reputable shop a little bit to do this if it help my fit 265s.

I did feel up in the fender well quickly and it didn't feel like there was much of a lip there?

To rub or not to rub can be a matter of a tenth of millimeter...

Yes it could. It could be the thickness of a proton too.

But I was just wondering if there was an actual lip to roll because it didn't feel like the lip on other cars. My friend said you can't roll his g35 because they come with the lips already flattened up.

Also don't drive my car during the week so I cant go check untill the weekend

You can't roll the rear fender. There is no lip.

YOLO89 What is the tire sizing? 255/35 or 255/30?
Also, what you running on the fronts?

Running 255/30/19 in the rear and fronts are 225/35/19. I'll probably do 235 next go around and see how it fits.

Just FYI, I'm surprised someone put that tire on your rear. My local tires shop told me its illegal for them to install tires that don't meet the requirements. I originally wanted to go with that set up but my tire shop wouldn't let me since the factory load rating is 92Y and the PSS in 255/30/19 is only 91Y.

Just be safe and don't roll with a 2 big guys in the back.

Haha well luckily it's on me and my gf ever in the car when I do take it out for a spin. I think my next set of wheels will be 18x8.5 et35 and 18x9.5 et62 and hopefully get 275 under.

I saw another 2 at the local meet this past weekend with 275 but didn't get the chance to speak with the owner about how it was.

Thanks that's what I was looking for! Now this may be a dumb question... Can you roll the fronts?

Really aggressive fitment, that's almost for an F30. I would expect that you will need to roll your fenders, certainly if you are lowered.
