You can just put in all your info at tirerack.com and pick your wheel/tire package. They will default to the smaller, more narrow sets like they should. I don't have the M Sport brakes, but I'm sure they take that into consideration.

Good call on black 17inchers. The color blends with the tires so they look almost like 18inchers.

drove home today in the first couple of inches, and they are OK but not great. Had to go very easy on the gas or the traction control cut right in. Better than the summer tires for sure!

I went the cheap route and have a pair of sport edition A7 wheels 17x7.5, and I'm running General Tire Altimax Arctic...honestly for the price I couldn't be happier, yes I miss my summer tires but my 228 went up and down my very steep driveway covered in snow just fine.
