Hello Saab Story I've ordered same wheels for my 228i, is the 5mm spacer needed in the front also with 225 (with standard suspensions)? I didn't find any information on BBS website

I had those on my 2012 S4 and they are by far the best looking wheel I've seen.

Any chance anybody can photoshop those wheels onto a pic of the Estoril Blue M235i ?

TIA
Nope, wrong bolt pattern. You need 5x120 and Audi is 5x112

Clearance wise you should be fine without it. Although you may want to pick up a set so the wheels don't look recessed into the fenders. Make sure to go with BBS's spacers; they are designed to work with their PFS system to ensure that the wheels remain hub centric.

Those wheels look amazing! I'm looking to do the same, was wondering if they fit ok with no need for spacers. You mentioned you use 5mm spacer, is that because you have aftermarket suspension? I used a calculator online that confirmed there will be no difference in scrub radius, with the spacer there would then be a difference in scrub radius which may affect handling/stability.. Is it really needed? The wheels sit perfectly in the arches by the looks of things!

This kinda looks like the wheels from the Focus RS. Looks good on your car though!

High Quality Wheels!

19's for show but these are some of the best.
.
I think 18's on the 235i shows that you are a true enthusiast.

Does anyone find putting aftermarket wheels on their 235 alters the handling or steering in any way? My old man put 19's on his 335 and the steering became really heavy. I don't know the specs of the tires though.

Have you got any more pics on this? Also where did you purchase from? I'm pretty much sold on these for my M135i...

m0dbargains is the main forgestar dealer although there are quite a few other places that carry them.

This is a great calculator to ensure your aftermarket wheels won't negatively effect handling, and if they will fit properly of course! The scrub radius MUST be unaffected! This is what can seriously affect your cars handling.

http://www.wheel-size.com/calc/?whee...cl=30mm&sr=0mm

I have already populated the data with measurements I took from my M235i, for the rear wheels and arches.. and included the new wheels and tires I intend to buy.

Thanks for the rear clearance specs. Did you measure the front clearance as well?
The scrub radius is something that people don't talk about much, many people are more concerned with the "look". Couldn't the scrub radius be compensated for with a bit of camber adjustment?
