BBS CH-Rs

You get a superior German made, TUV certified wheel that looks incredible, only weighs 22 lbs each in 18x8 Titanium, that won't bend like cheap ass OZ wheels. IMO, most of the wheels posted on this thread look cheap on the M235. I paid $50K for my Pearl White M235xi and plan to keep it for 5 years at least. I almost purchased the BBS SR's because they are cheaper than the CH-R's but they don't look anywhere near as good and they weigh 4 lbs more per wheel. I went with the Titanium. Looks incredible against a white coat and the gray painted side view mirrors. You get what you pay for. |

The Dinan S3 prototype (with the Dinan lowering kit) has the following setup (according to Nathan @ Dinan). It has been tracked and saw no rubbing or other issues:
Wheels: Front: 19 x 8 ET 40 – BBS CH-R (custom modification) Rear: 19 x 9 ET 44 – BBS CH-R (custom modification) Tires: Front: 245/35-19 – Michelin Pilot Super Sport Rear: 265/30-19 – Michelin Pilot Super Sport Article with pics is here: http://www.autoblog.com/2015/09/18/2...i-first-drive/ Last edited by dglende; 11-25-2015 at 02:46 PM.. |

Nice - can you tell us the offsets (ET) of your V710 wheels? Do you think there is aa chance for 235 tire at the front and 265 mm at the rear?

Rear: et45 And I think it would be a very tight fit but it also depends on your suspension set up.

I did a 19x9.5 et38 with a 235/35/19 on it 3mm more would work but would look odd unless lowered. et35 might even work with a narrow 255/30. Ill know in a week or two as I'm putting together a new setup

If 9.5 et38mm cw 235/35 wide tyre was tight towards the fender, the same width wheel with et35mm and a wider 255/30 tyre will be worse. High chance of it rubbing and even too much poke.

Figured I'd add to the thread since I haven't seen anyone else with these: Apex Aero-7 18x8 et 45 hyper black and Bridgestone Blizzak WS80 225/40 front and rear.

hey guys, with a stock m235i is it feasible to get away with a 255/35/18 in the rear? I'd be running them with PSS. Anyone have pictures of what a 255 and 245 tire look like from the rear of the car? Mine is OEM staggered, which is f225 and r245.
I'm guessing 265/35/18 is not an option with stock suspension. |

It is warm in Texas and have switched to summer tires with forgestar F14 wheels.
Wheel specs are 18x8.5 +42 and 18x9 +45. Tires are stock tires 225/40 and 245/35. Last edited by akuan99; 02-17-2016 at 02:33 PM.. Reason: Correct tire sizes |
