AFE F3x N55 Twisted Steel Header/Down Pipe With Cats for M235i

Hello:

Anyone have any experience with the AFE Catted Downpipe in the thread title? I'd like to move to a catted, high flow DP (from stock), and I was wondering if this was a decent product. Not familiar with AFE currently, or their products.

I know a lot of people just go for the catless downpipe, but I have some conscience issues (yeah, call me a tree-hugger if you want).

Anyone have any thoughts? I'd appreciate it. Thanks.

No, but there were a couple threads on these and how they didn't fit the F22. I would just stick with ER catted downpipe if you were to get one

Off topic: if you were a real tree-hugger, you would've bought a hybrid

I would recommend you stay away from AFE in terms of downpipes. had a set of N54 downpipes from then and their fitment was bad.

Ended up getting a Fabspeed catted downpipe. Very satisfied.

Yea I'd personally stick with ER or Fabspeed myself for a catted DP.

For anyone looking to get catted DP I recommend Wagner, ER or Fabspeed

Fabspeed uses superior HJS cats but also costs ~400 more
