Hello Guys

i just received my AA8 today and well, there is no instruction in it, No Bolt to attach the Box , and the wires came in a Zip Lock visibly very used and old !!!


does this mean i'm getting a second hand used product ??? heck i paid like 200$ for duties and shipping up here to Canada . even if i return it i'm losing money, i'm already disappointed by this situation i don't wanna have a used up part.

did some of u experience the same thing ??

I bought mine used, so I cant say for sure but you reuse an existing bolt to mount it. No instructions with mine either. I've seen people mention instructions with theirs but they said the online ones are better. Maybe they stopped sending them? Hard to tell from the pics but why do you think it is used? Could it be that they test them all?

Mainly because of the Ziplock where the wires were , that bag was like in a war and back. i'm telling u it is like somebody used it as a lunch bag for a month literally .

I mean u are sending a premium product that is supposed to be brand new, it can't be sent in a very used Ziplock unless a worker made a mistake !!

The baggie does look to have some miles on it, the unit appears to be brand new. I would not sweat the baggie as long as the product appears to be new and undamaged. I do see your initial concern, might have crossed my mind it was used before opening the baggie. Install and enjoy.

Maybe customs opened the package and then put it back on whatever they had lying around ?

No chance, the Fedex Box was Sealed and paid for accordingly

Update : I called AA and i told them about the bag, they certified that the Hardware is Always 100 % new, i take their Word for it.

Let me know if you find the camshaft position sensor. I just got mine in too! And I'm having trouble with the install.

I can't imagine they would send you a used product lol, probably just a bag they had lying around in the shop

No harm in what he did. In the end OP said he called and they apparently cleared it up.

Also, lots of companies recycle by reusing packaging material, particularly plastic.

Sent them an Email first, no answer, Toll Free Number does not Work at least not from Canada . i had to look for the Miami number so Yeah, i did my part .and as i said Above they assurede me that the Product is new so i believe them and move on

Most likely i'll try it first on my friend's 335i , his car is so big it feels like a boat , as for now i love my stock " Right spot " i don't feel it needs more power . but yeah i'll update u guys when it is done !
