M235xi Transmission Question

I had a loaner 2018 M240xi for a couple of days and the transmission seemed to he a lot smoother than my 2015 M235xi's. The M240 has 2k miles on it and my M235 has 30k but I feel like there should not be that big of a difference between the two. Is this something I should be concerned about and look into? I'm the 2nd owner of my M235 and I don't have much info on the previous owner and their driving habits.

Thanks all!

You could possibly try and reset any learned adaptations in your car. Not sure if this would be the ultimate solution but it couldn't hurt. I have a BM3 tune which allows me to reset all learned driving adaptations.

BMW Noob here. I tried to google around and see how to do this. I didn't find a perfect answer. How would I go about doing this?

I'm not sure this is the ultimate fix but at least an easy enough step to rule out.

Hmm gave it a shot, didn't seem to improve it at all.

This happened to my buddies stock ford fiesta. Just for shits I told him I'd be able to fix it, and I unplugged the battery for 15-30 minutes. After I hooked it back up he told me that all the jerkyness in the transmission was now gone. Apparently it worked for him.

So, it didn't change anything for me. Still the same feeling. I took it to the dealer and they couldn't feel what i was feeling. So I guess I run it till it gets worse.
