The ESS Tuning plug and play performance catalog, now available at AWE Tuning
AWE Tuning has partnered with ESS Tuning as a performance tuning solution to complement the BMW F22 M235i.
ESS Tuning products add power - and their delivery methods are incredibly simple. Let’s get started with the F22 M235i E-Tronic solutions. What’s E-Tronic? These simple to install (and uninstall) power adders provide full control of boost at all RPM ranges, and proper AFR calibrations without needing to splice into factory wiring. Order, plug in - simple.

Why not? If on warranty piggybacks are easy to remove and dont leave a flashcounter on the ECU. I´d go piggyback over flashing ECU anytime. |

The only safe course of action is no action as far as tunes go. That said, I've been running either a piggyback or a flash for at least a year and a half with no issues at all. The flash is superior to the piggyback in my experience. I was running an AA8 piggyback back and I'm now on a BM3 stage 1 tune. BM3 is much smoother in power delivery. https://f80.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1142408

But yeah, if it reverts the flashcounter its very much safer then just luring standard sensors. As long as you trust the guy who made the map. Like always, safest route is standard. And, not even that is so safe as I learned. |
