So I have the Stage 2 E30 BM3 and flashed the trans to stage 2 as well. I tried to bump up my trans to stage 3 and every time I try it fails not even a mini into it. I do a diagnostic check and it says "Energy Saving mode activated" with xHP. And it locks out my car. Won't start or anything. So I reflagged BM3 and it cleared everything and the car runs like normal. So I say what the hell and try xHP again. Same shit. But I still have the stage 2 xHP flash because in drive it says D1 and whatnot. Anyone have any ideas as to wtf is up?

You dont have the bm3 transmission flash enabled right? try flashing the trans back to stock and then flash stage 3

Would love to hear your thoughts on 2 vs 3. I am about to flash mine soon too.
