2019 with Low Blinker Fluid

Seems I may be a new victim of an old problem:
Got the fast blink -- at night, with the headlights on, brakes, and blinker.
Then the "Right rear turn signal malfunction" flashed on the touch screen.
Good little exclamation point loitered on the instrument panel for a good long while.

After a little research:
Could be the same old problem. I'll spare my derogatory comments about BMW not fixing a long-known issue pending diagnosis, care, and bill(?).

Three months left on the warranty. Perhaps coincidental that the dealer doesn't return my calls. (Last car was Lexus, so this is new to me.)
Not one to be that easily dismissed, I scheduled a visit via their website.

Curious to see how many days I'll be without a car while they diagnose, talk to Germany, order parts and repair
OR
If they'll just do it in an afternoon.

The taillight assembly was changed in October 2016 to address this issue (one month AFTER my car was built, and yes, I experienced the grounding issue). Not sure what your issue is, but it's likely not the same issue as the threads you've cited.

Not sure who ur dealership is, mine is Weatherford. They replaced my left tailight for the same issue this past December. I walked in, told the service guy and said "this is a known issue". He said yup right away, didn't deny it. He ordered the part before I even made the appointment. Now i told him mine happened on both lights, which it did.. But they would only fix the left because they couldn't replicate the issue with the right one. Mine is also a 2019 M240i Coupe and i only had like 15k miles on it at the time.

If you go to Weatherford, talk to Fortunado (goes by Fortune) in the service dept.

Hopefully I’ll return with a similar story.

For now, any anxiety is speculation.

I’ll call Weatherford and see where that leads.

Thank you.

This happened to me last year 2 months after picking up my 2019 M240i. The local dealer swapped it out for a new assembly all covered with the warranty.

So it looks to be a bad connector on the light itself and not the cable? In some of the previously mentioned threads it looked to be weak ground wire. Did they give any other info?

There doesn't look to be any "revised" part numbers for the pre-lci bulb socket parts 63217370291, 63217370292...

There looks to be an updated LED housing starting in 2019 though.

I asked if I should expect to come back again for this in a few years.
They said no. For what it’s worth.

Don't forget to lube the electrical contacts with relative bearing grease.
