Is a cold air intake a necessity for stage 2 bootmod3?

I recently just bought a 15’ m235i auto and purchased vrsf c/p, vrsf intercooler, and custom Catless downpipe that has a heat shield. I’m planning to get it installed at a local shop and tune with bootmod3. Would I need to get a cold air intake or would this set up be fine for the car? Any feed back would be appreciated, this is my first time owning a bmw and being in a car forum lol

No, but it helps. The M2 airbox works well and is cheap, a CTS intake is better.

Definitely not. I would replace the air filter though .
