I can't find the option to update from iDrive 5 to 6 lite on my M240i 2016 and for some reason I don't seem to have electric mirrors which I didn't know before buying, that's a shame!

Can anyone recommend what they've done to their car from the same year?

I don't even have an option to press a button and the mirrors go in which i didn't even know so finding new stuff out about it all the time.

On another problem:

I've put my VIN into BMW Update and it states there's a file to download. Done that, saved it onto my new USB which has been formatted correctly, insert it into the glove box USB, tried to update but it can't even find anything.🤯😭
