I took some pictures today in normal lighting, and it's actually not too bad, under floodlights the car picks up everything, car is used under normal lighting conditions, still wanna see what I can do, but maybe wait till summer

Yeah I'm guessing some people are just jealous and did that.

Either way, I can hardly see the scratches now looking at the pictures. (or is it just me?) So whoever fixed your car did a great job IMO.

Yes I agree, it looks a lot better now, but when shined up and in bright light you can see the thinnest of lines, but you really need to be seeing it at the right angle as well, at least it's not right there in your face

Looks MUCH better.

I would get the garmin mini dash camera. And plug it into a USB charging power block when you park in public. That way you dont have to worry about a dead car battery and it will record all night. That's what I do when leaving my car parked for hours. Otherwise my camera will just work when my cars on and it turns off 15-30 mins after I park. It comes with a cig port to USB power and the camera. I ran the wire from the front window to the rear cig power port in the trunk. Powers on and off with the car. And if I am going to be parked for hours. I walk to my trunk. Unplug the camera USB wire from the USB cig port adapter it comes with and I plug it into the battery pack. I dont usually keep the power block with me. But I will grab it on my way out if I know I will be parked somewhere long. I had bad experince with blackvue DR900 and its 24/7 power. It killed my battery a few times. So now I use stand alone USB power banks.

txs Bigworm, yes that's on my plan of things to do,

using my dash cam in parking mode with a battery, charged from the battery
celltek or similar
