Used 2017 M240i

I’m looking at a 2017 6MT M240i with 46k miles. Fully loaded and Black Exterior with Black Interior. Basically how I would have specced the car new. It’s at a BMW dealership and they’re out the door price after taxes, fees, and 1300 mile shipping cost is $36k. Manuals are difficult to find especially with my options and color combos.

I can’t actually see the car in person so I have to go off of photos and videos. Thoughts? The only thing that really concerns me is the mileage. I would prefer it if it were $1k-1.5k cheaper

You would save $1000 immediately if you went and picked it up yourself. Fly out on the early part of the week to avoid large crowds.

I'll maybe save a bit but not $1000. Even with flying it's still 20 hours of driving on the way back.

It's going to be at least $300 in travel expenses and 1400 miles on the car. I'm not really saving much. I don't really have vacation time to use either as I've not been at my job long enough to take multiple days off during the week.

I'm mostly asking if this seems like a fair deal all things considered. I expected to pay a premium for shipping.

If you are getting shipping. GET A CLOSED HARD SIDED CARRIER. If they're charging you $1300, that's like a hefty premium for shipping a car, and they better give you what you're paying for. I paid $1200 for a Hard-Sided carrier to ship from NJ to GA within two days, and I overpaid by $300 to make sure I would get the fastest available company.
Shipping cars is a little weird. The business is done off of bids, and the more you're willing to pay, the more likely a shipping company will pick it up with your desired options.
