Final CPO warranty inspection?
I’ve got a couple months left on my ‘15 228x cab CPO warranty. Car has been problem free except one minor bushing issue recently which was already fixed under warranty. No other known issues so wondering if worth paying for some kind of comprehensive dealer inspection before my warranty is up? Anyone do this before? Worth the $200+? Things to look for? TIA

You are betting $200 that there will be warranty work valued at more than $200. Given that every vehicle has its own story, there is no way to figure out odds on a bet like this. But if there is a problem, then it is very likely that it will cost much more than $200 to fix. After all, what was the last time you paid less than $200 for any repair?
Me, I would bet the $200. But you have to be prepared to throw away the money with no regrets. |

IMO I would do this unless you have a lift at home or are able to inspect it yourself. I feel it would provide useful info to know what is needing maintenance or what isn't.
If they communicate with you beyond a check mark that is... |

My warranty expired three days ago. It never occurred to me to do this. Maybe with a lot more miles on the car, it would have.
