Suspension curiosities
Hi guys!
I own a 228i on which the previous owner fitted Vogtland coilovers. I love how the car looks, but every bump creates a lot of noise. I would like to replace the whole suspension at the dealers', but I dont know how high it would get. The original suspension was S704a, non-adaptive. Could someone with stock S704a and 18" rims measure the distance from the fender arch to the bottom of the rim for me? Front and rear. Also, does the chassis setting in Sport Mode do anything with non-adaptive suspension? |

New suspension
Hello again!
I have installed Bilstein B12 kit about a month and some 1000 miles ago; It consist of Bilstein B8 shocks and Eibach pro kit -30/-25 springs. All good so far, improved manevrability, but the front left side sits 10mm lower that the right side. Do you have any ideea why? Everything was correctly installed and triple-checked |

Camber adjustment on OEM equipment
Hi, sorry to hijack the post (I’m new to the forum and wasn’t too sure where else to ask)
I was wondering if the stock suspension on a F22 220i would allow for -1 degree of camber? I’m planning on lowering the car 25-30mm and wasn’t sure if there’s anything else I would need to get? I’ve seen some adjustable camber bushings for the front that would give me what I want but not too sure about the rear. Would I need adjustable trailing arms or new camber bolts? Any help or advice is appreciated Cheers |

The rear already has adjustable inner bolts, stock adjustment will give up to about -2 degrees, with standard alignment being at -1.75 degrees.
