235i iDrive Complete loss of power

Hi all,

New member here so hoping I have put this topic in the correct place. Driving home yesterday and my speaker all of a sudden made a very loud pop and all power to my head unit went. Now it wont turn on and has no power going to it..

I have checked the fuses and cannot see any blown fuses. Does anyone have any idea what may have caused this and what the fix is likely to be?

When checking fuses you need to either remove the fuse and check it with an ohm meter or, using a digital volt meter, check the voltage across the fuse (it has 2 openings at the top or the lugs/spades).
