Wheel size vs weight

How much of an effect does 1-2 lbs difference makes in a rims to your ride?

Im using VMR v801 vs v804 as referrence

v801 18x8.5 is 21lb
19x8.5 is 22.4lb

v804 19x8.5 is 20.8lb
18x8.0 ET42 is 18.5lb (Couldnt find the weight of 18x8.5 for better comparison but shouldnt be far off.

Just basing on this, how much of a difference can 2-2.5lb a wheels affect? Is it something noticeable?

I believe stock is what? 24-26?

2.5 pounds is negligible on a road car.
10 pounds might be different.

I guess the real question is when does lightness effect safety...

That difference likely doesn't mean much unless you're racing.

Re: wheel and tire weights – I've found them to vary from what's advertised and sometimes by a fair amount. These are the weights for my current summer setup:

Regardless of the advertised weight, Michelin's quality control appears to be excellent.

I'm not surprised by the weight variance of the Apex ARC-8 18X9 ET42 wheels; I've seen it before with relatively inexpensive wheels.
