Apex Group Buys

Ran into some analysis paralysis on new wheels for my F23. Was originally looking at buying inexpensive OEMs and making them winter tires but decided recently to put PA4/5 on the factories and get new summer wheels most likely Apex Arc-8 due to the price to weight ratio.

Unfortunately I missed the latest group buy on these so I'm wondering how often they actually occur so I can plan ahead since I've only got about 6,000 miles on the factory summers and can easily make it through the summer on them.

I thought it was $200 and free shipping but could be wrong.

My final price after the max discount and free shipping was $1,280 with tax.

For reference I just ordered a square set of ARC-8s 17X8.5 ET40 from Bimmerworld for $1,195 all in (shipping was free).

Thanks. Looks like the staggered set in Anthracite would be $1426 so I lost out on just under $200. Add $1040 for the tires and $160 for the TPMS and another $160 for the install and it would be just under $2800.

It was a ballpark based on Tirerack's published mobile install rate. Looks like discount tire is closer to $25

Honestly, as someone with a bit of insight into how we launch and fulfill them, the Group Buys are fairly sporadic and we plan them around our production and inventory schedules which change constantly. I haven't been tasked with launching another ARC-8 Group buy yet so you won't see one for these wheels for another few months at a minimum.

With that being said, we actually did just get a Tax Season Sale live and it includes various 2 series compatible wheels. So that might be a good option for you if you're still hunting.
