Clunk noise hunting

2014 M235i lowered on Dinan springs, 87K. I've been lowered for a while now but recently started getting a clunk noise from the driver's front suspension. I back into my garage, the clunk is most repeatable by swinging the car to the right and stopping, cutting the wheel to the left and putting it in reverse. As soon as I start to back up, clunk. I got under there and looked at the lower control arm, thrust arm, and sway bar linkage. Nothing looked off. Rubber boots are all good, used a prybar and nothing really moved though I'm not entirely sure how to check. I'm looking for some guidance on how to chase this down and what I should be looking for.

I would think the problem is either the top mounts or the steering rack thrust bushing.

Thrust Bushing - Easy Check

Some say it has to be done with vehicle running.
.
My before was: Car off . Grab top of steering wheel and quickly turn Left then
Right. If you hear the clunk noise then the bushing is worn &
could be replaced -- which I did and the noise went away.

As the thrust bushing is worn - I believe you could tighten the
thrust pice cap a 1/4 turn and retest. If this solves the problem
- I would still replace with a the newly designed thrust piece.

Note: While under Warranty -- BMW replaced my Top Mounts as they though this
was the culprit. No Luck. Thrust Piece is a $32 fix if DIY.
