M Perf Shift Knob and E-brake same as 3/4 series?

Anyone know if the cf m performance shift knob and e brake boot for the f30 is the same part as what fits on our cars? I was surprised to see that the part numbers were different, I thought that our interiors were basically the same.

They both look the same to me. I got P/N 25112222534 for both on shopbmwusa.com.

I believe the one for the 2 series ends with a 29

You're right. It's gotta be something weird on the BMW website giving conflicting information.

I got P/N 25112222529 for the 2er now. I'm led to believe that it's different because the shift knob comes attached to the shift boot. The shift surrounds on the 2er & 3er, thus a different boot needs to be on the knob, thus a different P/N.
