Brake Upgrades?

Hi All,

Apologies if this topic has been answered already as I could not find it in the forums and google is confusing me a little..

I have a 2016 228i N20 with the M-Sport package (not M-Sport brakes). I believe this is the p337a package. However I read online that only vehicles up to 2014 have the 330x24mm rotors.. and those after 2014 dont? Can someone verify this? I am looking to do brake service soon and having a hard time finding out which brakes I have.

Also a side question, are there any rotor or caliper upgrade options for my size? thanks in advance

Have you tried realoem.com and enter your VIN?

Thanks for the reply. yes, I have tried them. They mention 340mm for M sport package OR M Sport Brakes. https://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/sho...diagId=34_1949

But I read other places that Msport Package is 330 and the Msport Brakes are 340. if I buy the wrong ones, does 10 mm make a difference in fitment?

Likely not on the pads but the larger rotor may require more caliper clearance. If aftermarket can't be certain which rotor is correct, you may have settle for genuine rotors.
