XDrive Non-EDC Dampers
Anyone able to find XDrive NonEDC Dampers?
Car currently has EDC with dinan springs and im happy with the ride and all. Just the FL Strut is now leaking after 5 years of owner ship so looking at replacing the struts/dampers with something a bit better than OEM given the price of 2 new OEM EDC Struts. Was hoping to find some Bilstein dampers or something but all i can find is EDC. I am able to Code out the EDC my self through BMW so thats not an issue. Will the RWD NON-EDC Damper options fit for AWD? Are the Shock bodies physically bigger on NON-EDC vs EDC? i dont think i've came across a 2 series that doesnt have EDC with my time at BMW Thus far. I noticed Turner motorsports has some nice Shock/Spring kits for RWD but nothing for the XDrive models. I dont really want to go with a Full on Coil Over as the Car now with OEM Struts/dampers and Dinan Springs has been great thus far and if going to the OEM EDC Struts is the only option i will just go that way. Moved From edmonton to Regina so not like im tracking the car even out here so no real need for a full on Coil over set and Dinan springs put the car at a nice height already for Daily driving. If anyone knows where i can find some Non EDC Struts for XDrive models please let me know.
