Not something I ever messed around with, so I can't be sure if I'm crazy (and it was never adjustable on mine) or if they somehow botched something with the reflash. Anybody who can comment?
I had a base 228i as a rental last summer. You could select Sport mode and configure it per the above post (drivetrain only, chassis only, or both). Of course chassis only doesn't do much since the suspension on the base 228i is not adaptive, I think it did firm up steering a bit.

I always drive with stick to the left in manual mode.

ECO: running out of gas mode
Comfort: Girlfriend in car mode
Sport: Rain mode
Sport +: Normal daily driving mode
DSC OFF: Track or empty parking lot hoon mode (if your a beginner on track, use comfort at first, its smoother and work up to sport than sport +)
DTC: Stuck in snow mode
This sounds like me

Ive now set Sport to comfort suspension settings, so Comfort mode gets no use at all, and sport is now girlfriend/wife mode.

Is there anyway we can get engine mapping/throttle response/shift speed of Sport+ programmed to DSC Off mode?

The nanny is pretty intrusive when pushing the car in Sport+ so I want that completely off but don't want to lose the aforementioned benefits while in DSC Off.

There no way to get Sport/Sport+ throttle response in DSC off mode (less chance to shit yourself by accident). You can still throw the transmission in sport mode to get quicker shifts and hold gears for longer.

There's a higher chance of me shitting myself with that intrusive crap on in Sport+ and DSC Off seems dull in comparison due to the loss of the aforementioned "Sport+" features, but at least the nanny's gone. When I'm on the track, I want full control and don't want the car doing stuff I'm not expecting.

No doubt, didn't mean you specifically. I'm sure their judgement is based on the lowest common denominator though.

Agreed. It just sucks BMW didn't give us such an option is all. Makes me wonder if the M cars have this problem.
