Back in the family!

Hello all,

I just wanted to say hello and that I'm thrilled to be back in the family. After owning a 2006 E90 330i, then upgrading to a 2008 E92 335i, I am now the happy owner of CPO 2017 F22 M240i xDrive. I took about a 10 year hiatus in between doing ya know, responsible stuff, e.g. having a house built, parenting a child. But now, 3 months short of my 40th birthday, I'm back!!!!!

Looking forward to wasting a lot of time on here (and learning a lot from y'all of course!)

Gorgeous! These guys will paint your calipers to coordinate with color scheme (red!). They did mine in Valencia Orange before delivery at Erhard.

Thanks Sportstick, great suggestion. Do you have a ballpark figure on how much that'll cost?

They did mirror caps (originally gloss black---> Valencia) and calipers at the same time. As memory serves (2014!), the total for both was about $400.

Delivery day...we then added new MSport logos back to the calipers.

MGM + red interior is hot, but IMO it needs some contrasting wheels ASAP. Far too much gray on the outside with the wheels like that. Oh, and I vote for leaving the calipers stock M Sport blue! If you plan to take it on track, the front calipers will turn from blue to black anyhow. Save your money if that's the case.

Honestly, that was so long ago and I'd be lying if I said I can remember enough to accurately compare the two. I had a JB+ on the 335i, but even stock, it was a beast. I loved driving that car, but living in the moment, I love this one even more. Let's just say after a week and a half of ownership, I am once again finding every excuse possible to make a "quick trip to the store".

Congrats! That was the initial color I wanted or the EB but a manual popped up in GSM and I couldnt pass up a manual. I'm so jelous... I should have been more patient
