bmw i 220 stage 1 tuning 184hp n20

hey my bimmer friends i need help i got a i220 184hp 2015 with n20b20
engine .. i want to tune this engine but alot people told me that engine will blow with a littlie tuning .. i want to know if people here tuned this engine with stock
setup only stage 1 and what is the best tuning and what the maximum hp this engine can hold with stock pistons... plese help me

Nope, it will not blow. The 220i has 11:1 compression ratio so I would suggest going to a pro tuner, but other than that, you'll have no problem to bring it to 220bhp on the so called stage 1 and it will run for years.

already high compression. if you want 250hp+ trade it in and get a n55 or somethin man..
i dont understand why youd buy a 228i then want more power..

This person bought a 220 not a 228, in a country where 2-series of any sort are as rare as hens' teeth and very expensive, so presumably there was not much choice.
The 220 is not available in North America, where there are no tax penalties for buying large-displacement engines, unlike the rest of the world. The question is legit.
