Goof off is acetone. I hit it with that and got almost all off. There are some specks I cannot get off. The vinyl wrinkled. I tried some light heat and it wrinkled more. Looks like shit. My advice is if it does not immediately come off with 91% alcohol then give up. Looks like I'll be buying a new one for 90$.

To things. First soak it with VLR then hit it with heat, mine was wrinkled and came back. Second don't spend $90 for a new one with labels, might as well talk to IND at that point and get a virgin set from EU with no labels.

I have my set from my F23 that I removed the labels and they look really good, my OCD motivated getting the EU ones. If they will fit in your car and you're interested let me know my debadged ones are just wrapped up in the garage on a shelf.

Hmm. I remembered you had them wrinkle and did heat. Forgot about the VLR. I have Aerospace 303. Wonder if that would do the trick? I'll give it shot later and report back.

I think just get them wet and heat the specific product isn't hugely important.

I let it sit over night in my 100F garage and the vinyl shrunk back. I applied aerospace 303 and it looks better. However, burnishing is visible from scrubbing. I think I'm going to try and fashion a way to mount my gate transmitter overtop of the bad area. I hate that thing on the windshield anyway. Second option is to by Euro spec. I'm in Brussels and Frankfurt often. Third, order from your guy.
Thank you for offering yours. Different part on the F23 and F22.

Yeah I believe it was 91% it took about 2 minutes to unclip and unscrew and about 30 minutes to rub off each sticker. Totally worth it it looks great!

I wonder if the age of the sticker, or maybe ambient temps over time, have something to do with some people having trouble removing the stickers?

Here's a video link of me removing one of my stickers using nothing except 91% alcohol and plastic wrap to soak the sticker for less than 3 minutes. Both stickers were this easy to remove, and lifted off cleanly in one piece.

EDIT: Shared video link removed.

My car is a 11/15 production. So 2.5 years old. Either age or some have a different adhesive.

I'm having trouble determining the EU part number. Do you happen to have them? I'm going to be in Brussels next week and the dealer is just a few steps outside of the the hotel. I thought it might be a good opportunity.

No idea I got them from IND, sorry. Called Cat and said I want no label visors and they showed up a few days later, I never did any investigating beyond that.

Oh I also have convertible so NOT what you need. I know for a fact that it's a different part number coupe to convertible. Think convertible is more expensive. I believe (but may be mistaken) that coupe there is a coupe version that works, there is not a convertible version so you then have to go up to an M3 visor that's more money.

If you select a Euro car on realoem you find:
For vehicles with Headlining anthracite
Sun visor without label, left SCHWARZ - 51448057937
Sun visor without label, right SCHWARZ - 51448057938

IND lists the F87 M2 visors with SKU# 51448061845, but realoem says that visor has a label:
For vehicles with Headlining anthracite
Sun visor with label, left SCHWARZ - 51448061845
Sun visor with label, right SCHWARZ - 51448061846

The parts guys in Europe probably have these in stock so you can check before purchasing. IND should also be able to clarify.

Tried to remove the driver's side on my convertible, got the tab unclipped and the T20 fastener out but the visor didn't want to move at all. Initial instructions say that it rotates forward, but I thought I used a lot of force and don't want to break anything......
I just put it back together.

Convertible is different. Convertible the front cover flips forward and exposes the front torx screw, just like the hardtop and the instructions. However instead of the whole thing flipping down and out, with the back held on by a latch, on the convertible the back cover also opens and there is a second torx screw. Once you have the second screw out, it simply lowers out of the hole (no need to flip it down to clear a latch, there is none).

If anyone still has their CONVERTIBLE visors with decals and bought non-decal, I'd buy your right/pass side decal one. Broke mine trying to figure out why it wouldnt come out like a non-vert. Sigh.

I just got one on ebay with sticker for $30. Kinda lucky it was the only one around and happened to be the side I needed. And pretty cheap. IMPOSSIBLE to find a convertible mirror until you realize its the same as a 4 series convertible, and even then very hard to find.

If you have them with the stickers already removed you could probably sell on ebay for a shit-ton more money. Its a pain to get the stickers off. But thanks for the offer.

Weird:
When I took the stickers off MY sunvisors (2017 with 12k miles) it was a royal pain. Socked in 91% for 20 min, scratched some off, soaked some more, scratched. Took a long time and I was chucking it off with my fingernails. After I had little dots of sticker all over the place I had to take off one at a time with my fingernail.

I just got a visor from a 4 series convertible, who knows how old it is, and I soaked for 15 min and the whole thing just slid off into a ball with one finger (no nail). Weird. This one did leave some glue residue while mine had none. So I'll have to go over it again with some goo-gone.

So the age of your stickers seem to have a lot to do with it.
