People are such assholes. The other day some guy almost t-boned me making an illegal u-turn and then proceeded to cut me off and slam on the brakes in an attempt to get me to rear end him. Luckily I was able to stop in time. I saw him again this week with a busted rear bumper so he probably pulled the same shit on some other unfortunate person. I try not wish bad on people but I really hope that piece of shit wraps his car around a telephone pole before he kills someone else.

I had a 2015 mineral grey 228xi, but traded it in for a 2016 mineral grey m235.
I want to replace the spoiler but other than that I'm pretty happy with it.

Hi all, I was wondering if anyone has some pictures of a painted MG spoiler or black spoiler? Most of the spoilers in the thread are CF.

Thanks!

bumping this request...

i'm considering adding a black gloss spoiler and black gloss kidney grills...anyone else done this on a MG?

btw...here's mine...coral red sport line...which i think is why i have fog lights when most others dont? or is that due to non-angel eyes?

What Michelin's do you have on?

I've been debating 255/35/18 MPS4s on 18x9.5 vs. 18x9 for a long time, and I think the 9" is winning it for me.

From the few pictures I've found online, 255/35 Michelin's on 9.5 have a bit more stretch than i'd like, whereas on a 9" they look perfect - not as squared as an 8.5, but just enough stretch to look sporty and help with fender clearance.

Yeah I agree. I talked alot with Apex about this size and offsets. I didn't realize it was going to look so stretched. I've gotten used to it though. I'm running Michelin AS3+ 225/40/18 and 255/35/18.

On the fronts, America's Tire tried a 235 while the car was still up in the air and it seemed to fit but there was a chance when turning the wheel all the way in either direction that they might hit (the struts?). I've seen lots of posts though with people running the 235s on stock suspension with no issues though. Ultimately went with the 225s with zero issues.

The rears have about 1 index finger worth of space between the shock boots when on the ground and compressed. Tire shop thought initially it wouldn't fit when the car was up, but Apex swore up and down that it would fit when compressed, and they were correct.

I'm about to put on the summer Michelin PS4S's and debating on the 235s front and might get a camber plates to do 265/35/18 rears. I'll keep ya posted. I need to talk to Apex again.

lol, i've had both the A/S 3+ (225/40 on 8.5 and 245/35 on 9.5) and the PS4S (235/40 on 8.5 and 265/35 on 9.5).

At stock height, you should be fine running 235/40s on your 18x8.5 ET35. If you do lower the car however, I'm betting there'd be some mild rub as I had on dinan springs and 235/40s on 18x8.5 ET35 (ET45+10mm spacer). I eventually rolled my fenders which did help a bit, but then i kept getting more an more aggressive and got camber plates and settled at 235/40 ET25 and -2.2 camber. I was trying to fill out the fender which had a mild pull from the fender roll, but also wanted to push the limits of how far out i could push my wheel and tire without rubbing so that I could workout the sizing required for wider wheels and tires up front.

Now that I'm on Ohlins coilovers and Vorshlag camber plates, there's PLENTY of space now that the height has been raised to a finger gap all around and I'm pretty confident in getting a 18x9 ET32 (ET42+10mm) 255/35 or 18x9.5 ET28 (ET43+15mm) 265/35 up front.

You don't need camber plates to do 265/35 rears? unless I'm misreading that, for reference I've ran 18x9.5 ET48 (ET58+10mm) 265/35 on Dinan springs and had 0 issues.
