Installig M Performance Tips on Standard Exhaust

I put M Performance Diffuser on my 235i and now need to extend exhaust tips

Questions:

Use pipe cutter or saws-all to cut off tailpipe sections?

Do I need to lower exhaust to do the cutting?

If I just cut the peg/post, what can I use? Hacksaw? Dremel disk?

Thanks for the help

Bmw makes intermediate pipes to extend the exhaust tips out.

For the price... just buy the whole m performance exhaust honestly. I went through the same scenario.

I hear you

Don't particularly need the sound of the MPE, but for the right price....

You can also get an MPE for basically free if you do it right, get a nice used one and sell it again when you get rid of the car.

^ This.

The right parts, bought used, are excellent value.

Send an email to Brian at Sun Motors. He gave me a great deal on my MPE and you could always resell when you're selling the car like it was mentioned above.

Good thought

That's where I got my diffuser

Keeping car forever [I've had an E30 for 29 years]

How loud is the MPE compared to stock?

Thanks

MPE is louder by doesn't over due it, gives the car a little more character. No droning, IMO best exhaust for everyday use.
