Assistance - Carbon Fibre Effect
Has anybody had experience with the so called "Carbon Fibre Effect" for interior bits. I had the OEM Carbon Fibre (CF) in my F30 328i and while effective I wasn't all that impressed with the "genuine" CF matt finish when compared to high gloss versions I've seen, especially the gloss CF finish in the M cars.
Ive done a bit of research on the net, from what I can find out the OEM CF kit for the M2235i is the matt "genuine" finish (same as the F30). I've seen a few YouTube vids that feature the "Carbon Fibre Effect" that is high gloss and looks really impressive. Not sure if there are any companies in Australia that offer this finish or if CF interior bits in high gloss for the M235i are available - anywhere. Any advice? |

Doesn't look all that bad - is that the "plasti dip" finish? I've seen a few vids on you tube and found a local company here in Sydney that specialise in "dipping". All of the reviews I've read are positive. Haven't got around to doing anything with mine yet. You don't recommend this? How does it compare with the high gloss CF in the M cars?
