It seems to me that with the receipt, and a modicum of detective work, the police or insurance company will find her rather easily. Now whether they choose to pursue her, or just pay your claim, is another matter entirely. Often times, they determine it's not worth their time, and they just pay the claim, much to your chagrin when you really want her caught and prosecuted. Sadly, too often it doesn't work that way.
