So if you want a sense of size, just look at the e36 sedan, the 2 will be the same. |

I've parked my e36 next to a 2er before and the 2er was def bigger. Could be wrong but it looked more like the size of an e46.

Hopefully it looks as good as the 4GC, which looks better in person than in pictures.

As it turns out, the f22 is slightly wider and slightly taller, with a slightly shorter wheelbase, but otherwise I'd say they are the "same" size. |

I was all set to trade my F10 with the 4 GC as I like this GC a lot, really .... But when I test drove it, it was too cramped for me ... I'm a ++guy, so I would imagine this 2 GC to be much smaller ... U have to be under certain size to get in

I think BMW is diluting the brand with all the suv iterations. However, this could be a very important car to compete with Audi and merc. It's not niche. BMW really does need a smaller sedan, bad. The new 3 is gigantic and if they're offering the ultimate driving machine, don't make me buy something huge if I want 4 doors.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, a 4-door is NOT a coupe. Now with that out of the way, I think as a business model, it makes sense for BMW to sell it here. Don't get me wrong, I like the fact that the 2 is a true coupe and there aren't many of them, so seeing more 2-series on the road kinda sucks. But I do understand BMW's reasoning for selling this, as opposed to the 2 Gran Tourer that BMW has said they are not selling in the US. Neither article confirm that, even if built, that it will be sold in the US.

Seeing as how the CLA appears to be huge success, I would say BMW is looking to get in on the action and would probably sell a fair number of these.
If the backseat were truly reasonable in this car I would consider it to replace my M235 when my lease is over. |

Well, I can see the need for a 4-door version since competitors are using the extra doors as a selling point. it certainly makes more sense than the 4 series grand coupe, which is the 4-door version of the 4 series coupe which is the 2-door version of a 4-door 3 series sedan.
