F22 - Headlight Bulb & Turn Signal Bulb

Hi All,

First post here and new owner of a 2016 M235i xDrive. Have been looking at the car for about a year and purchased last month!

I understand there is a cosmetic and lighting sub category but i feel like the general forum receives more traffic.

I have a few questions regarding the headlight bulbs.

1 - Front HID Headlights; What xenon bulb recommendations do you have for 2016 bmw m235i? I see ones that are priced $50-$100 per bulb but I find it hard to believe there arent more affordable bulbs out there without sacrificing reliability.

2 - Front Turn Signals; I would like to replace these bulbs that show amber color in the reflector housing. I would like to install chrome/clear bulbs that show no amber color until the bulb is lit (turn on my turn signal).
Would my car accept LED's or would i have to get a converter kit? What bulbs would work for my car? Ive read lot of information and little confused.
What bulbs do you recommend for this to achieve this look?

Also, my right headlamp turns but my left headlamp does not. Clearly something is broken. Any suggestions what this is and would it be an easy fix? I am trying to avoid going to the dealer to have this corrected.

Any input is appreciated.

Thanks in advance

You should check the specific forum - I know there is a ton of detailed feedback on LED's - many will throw codes or have other problems aside from not fitting. I'm considering the silver bulbs myself. Also just saw a youtube posted about headlights, but DK where (some super cheap bulbs that did well, but they were not testing durability).

Yes, that's the one. Wasn't sure if it was s/t I just drifted into from random endlinks, or posted on one of the forums. Really simple to install too.

I got Phillips SilverVisions for my turn indicators. Once had to get them shipped from the UK, but looks like a seller on Amazon has a few here:
