[Si-M240i]

I'm trying to source a lower intake pipe without the resonator in it, that would be an oem replacement. I don't want the whole replacement pipe as I already have a Dinan carbon fibre CAI with the top half of the pipe replaced with an carbon fibre one without the top resonator and it fits to the oem lower intake pipe on the intake to the turbo. I have seen pictures of a Ross Racing one but can't seem to find it when searching or on their website. I have also seen a Polish one by Turbo Works but there are no contact details on the website and I don't think they ship overseas

Turbo works (bottom picture) in Poland won't ship overseas and I still can't find anyone who sell the Ross Racing (top picture) one but clearly they do actually exist

Would you do a before and after intake sound?

I recently installed a MST intake and was a little disappointed in my first intake sound. (Inflated expectation from youtube videos ) Might be interested to do this for myself.

I already have the top resonator remove as I have the Dinan carbon fibre CAI fitted with also has a huge cone filter inside. So I get a good noise inside the car already

Same, I already have the top resonator remove as I have the MST CAI fitted with the huge cone filter inside and have some noise already. Most noise are on higher acceleration.

Was curious if I might get more wind sound on lighter acceleration with the bottom resonator removed

Think it will be tough to tell from inside the car. I just want fully optimised airflow with least restrictions. I also have hot climate elbow fitted and scoop
