Is there a new non-M 2er undergoing testing?
Featured on BIMMERPOST.com So, is there a new 2 series coming out soon here in the US? Could it be the new engine like a 230i? Could it be a disel? This particular 2 series has some nice 5, twin spoke wheels. |

There are no plans for a hard top 228i. The 2 will keep the ragtop and if you want the hard top you have to jump to the 4 series.

I saw the below car in the Glendale Mall parking lot at night. I have to apologize, as I had my hands full and could not get good light/angle for pics. I'm wondering if it's the same that you saw?

I thought this also, but perhaps drumming up attention isn't such a bad campaign effort either, especially since the 2 series is aimed more at enthusiasts. Here we are, discussing it

But yeah, it would have been more "stealth" if their test cars dropped the camo. |
