Corner Braces - Carbon Fiber
First, these are for F23/F33 convertibles and F87 M2(N55) only.
https://www.turnermotorsport.com/p-5...ces-boomerang/ I bought these originally for looks as the cheap, stamped steel OE really brought down the appearance of the engine bay. Much to my surprise they actually make a noticeable improvement to the "feel" of the car. It feels more solid and composed (more BMWish). This is especially true on uneven road surfaces. Not surprising, once you remove the originals as they are easily twisted by hand. No comparison to the carbon replacements. Best of all they were swapped out in 10 mins with 8 bolts. Barely a "half-beer" job. I can't imagine a better bang for the buck for improving chassis feel (that anybody can do). If these fit your car, buy them. My comparison test: Drove the car for 13 hrs, waited 2 days and installed the new braces, drove 13 hrs back home. This is in addition to the previous 25k miles since new. I noticed the improvement right away and it has been confirmed every time I drive the car. |

You may be able to find a local fabricator to make something equivalent.
