Best deals tend to be private sales, or non-BMW dealers. The 228ix I bought from a Toyota dealer that definitely did not understand all the options that were on the car. I was at a BMW dealer yesterday for service and I got in a M235i, a M2, and an M4. As nice as the cars are, I really do like the 228i. I am not driving on a track, it's quick when I want it to, handles great, and is better on gas than the M I had, or 3358x, or S4. These stories aren't new, but they both picked the 228i flat out over the M235i: http://www.roadandtrack.com/car-cult...mparison-test/ http://jalopnik.com/the-bmw-228i-is-...buy-1662847106 |

I have to agree with the writers. My 228 is hilarious fun both on and off track in stock form, even without M Sport. Ditching the runflats and adding a tune and things got interesting. I am so torn between getting a C6 Z06 to replace the 228 but I may just wait until I go full bolt on. Suspension will be first.
After BFG Sport Comp 2 A/S in 225/40/17 Weekend trip with friends. Taking it slow due to the run flats and having my wife with me for her first time riding shotgun on track.
